This page is devoted to the loving memory of
Jennifer Ann Raines, loving wife of Steve Raines and loving mother of Sean Raines.

She past away of cancer 07/27/96 after a five year battle with it.  And BATTLE she did, refusing to let it get her down, she continued to work through chemo and radiation treatments, and even when she lost her hair, she decorated her head with various pretty caps and scarves, never letting it get the best of her.

She touched many peoples lives with her kindness and good nature.  And is sorely missed, not only by her family, but all of those who had been lucky enough to be her friend, which numbered in the hundreds.

Jennie had a weakness (or more like a obsession) for chocolate and required daily drives to the local store for more. She loved butterflies, and beautiful flowers, which grew in our garden, and hummingbirds.  She loved an area where she had a cabin at Cranberry Lake in upstate New York - where she was born and raised.

She touched our lives in so many ways too numerous to mention here.  She will be missed, but never forgotten.

She was a victim of Breast Cancer, and we hope that you will donate what you can to the American
Cancer Society to help fight and hopefully eventually eliminate this dreaded disease.
